The Inspiration

Two things inspired the idea for INSPO, which is shorthand for the word “inspiration.”
First, a frustration with existing social networks, none of which truly focus on high-quality insights or expert content, and their reliance on an ads-based model that, in our view, encourages low-quality, clickbait content and drives a race to the bottom.
Second, the growing need for professionals at all stages of their careers to build credibility through thought leadership, yet no platform currently exists that effectively supports this in a structured, purpose-built way.

There is no dedicated space for thought leaders and their audiences and our mission is to resolve that.
Our vision is to make professional thought leadership portfolios an essential part of every career.
Whatever stage you are at in your professional journey, thought leadership is essential to building visibility and credibility. Over time thought leadership will become the norm, not the exemption.
The Founder
The company was founded by Draego Zubiri, a migrant and Oxford University graduate who specialised in learning technologies and graduated with highest honours.
After building his tech career in London across content-driven platforms and marketplaces, he saw a gap: thought leaders lacked a dedicated space to be recognised and rewarded for their insights. He set out to create a social platform for expert content that would be credible not only to professionals, but also to academia.
Like many great ideas, INSPO began in a café on a quiet Sunday morning.
